I probably just had my best run since I injured my knee over three years ago.
I needed that run.
With temperatures nearing 50 degrees in Lincoln, Nebraska and a bright sun shining, leaving work at 4pm to bask it all up was the right decision. I set a goal that running just one mile would be great.
I ran three.
And honestly, had my knee not started pounding, begging for a break, I could have kept going. I really didn’t want to stop. It felt good.
